Interactive Invitation Design

Roles: Layout Design, Paper Engineering, Ideation This conceptual invitation for Laura Owens Virtual Exhibit was designed during the pandemic when most Southern California businesses & museums were closed and Californians were in quarantine. Therefore, the goal of the invitation was to create an interactive and engaging experience for the viewer while being in quarantine. Design Summary: The invitation design is minimal to highlight the colorful artwork. It is a pop-up style of invitation and when a light source is pointed to the artwork, the artwork is projected onto a wall. The viewer can feel like they are at the museum enjoying a private showing of the art pieces while in the comfort of their own home, safe from covid.
